One cold day in December, the world woke up to a silence. No cars were running, not a word was uttered, even the birds were in a confused silence. With a glance around, there was something not right with the land, something was missing. Then it hit you, there was not a human to be seen. They had all disappeared. There were signs of some struggle and rushing but still, there was no evidence of remaining human life. Pets were thrown into a state of panic when there were no owners to feed them. Those strong enough though, were able to make it out and live in the wild.
Now, years later, there is still the mystery of why the humans went missing, not that the animals cared. They have learned to take care of themselves and have formed packs that now roam the streets. They fight for prey and territory, becoming completely feral. The streets are covered with blood and seeing the death of a dog was uncommon. In this dog eat dog world, only the strongest survive.

07.03.09- This is our first day and everything is getting put into place and soon we will be ready to advertise and find some new members. I just have some last minute things to finish.
07.05.09- Just about everything is ready to go except for some things I may tweak later on. So, now all we need are new members to get this place running. Also, if you would like to be the leader of a pack, you must first send me a PM, requesting and then I will have you give me a couple role play examples. If I like your character and your role playing skills are fit to play one of the leaders, then I will give you the okay to post your character.

Plot
For as long as dog-life could remember, the Shadow Teeth and the Dynasty have been arguing, but it has never reached a full-scale war. Lately, there has been a disappearance of prey, unsolved murders, and destruction among both packs. Can the leaders and their followers keep from fighting long enough to learn that the culprits are not each other but instead, a much darker force?

The City
The Abandoned Apartment Building A multi-complex, abandoned with the rest of the city when the humans mysteriously disappeared. It is about four stories high with many rooms just sitting empty. The door-hinges have long since rusted and fallen apart, leaving the entire building open to the wildlife. This building is now home to many dogs and is often a meeting place.
** This is the main part of the Shadow Teeth's territory. This is where their dens are and their meeting place.

The Main Plaza Once a bustling centerpiece to the city with a beautiful flowing fountain now fashions crumbling cement and a pool of dusky water that had once flowed from the fountain. The park is surrounded by trees with long winding paths and tall grass, having not been cut in many years. Another dog and wildlife friendly place, also big enough to hold several packs of dogs without conflict.

The Alleyways The dark, dank spaces between buildings that make travel between streets fairly shorter. The last bits of evidence of human life live between these areas with their trash and shows of their hurried escape from whatever had caused their disappearance. Now, it is home to many dogs that find comfort in solitary.

The Streets - In general, the old roads that run up and down and sideways through the city, leading to just about everywhere. From here, dogs can access old buildings, stores and other structures that still stand. This is not a good place for dogs that can’t stand being out in the open, since on this cold, black cement, there is no protection.
Bear Claw Lake The center of the forest and from where the Bear Claw Rivers run from. Surrounding it is a large clearing, completely deprived of trees and is free to the air and weather. Here, it is a bit marshy with soft ground and small swamps. It smells horrible from the different fungi and animals that live and grow there. It is a great place though, to find healing herbs for those who are sick or injured.

Bear Claw Rivers Several small rivers that run from one big lake. They cut through the trees, running in over four directions. A good source of water for any animal and also for those who can fish, food. It is the life of the forest. It has long since cleaned out the contaminants left by the humans, so it is safe to drink, but not safe to swim for it has a hard, strong current.

Poppy Meadow A long stretch of tall grass dotted with red poppies. It is free of trees and neighbors Bear Claw Lake. Often fought over for as territory since among the grass live different kinds of prey, large and small. One of the many Bear Claw Rivers runs right through the center of it.

The Pine Forest A forest of pine trees and holds much prey. It’s dark most of the time and is usually favored by dogs with darker fur colors since it is easy for them to hide among the shadows to chase down their meals. It also holds many caves and den-like areas so it is often picked for pack territories.
Chat , you can talk about anything, it doesn’t have to be about the role play at all. This is where you talk about your new puppy or that book you just read.
